Shipping & Delivery
Thank you for choosing Sunshine Advertising. We are committed to producing high quality products and delivering them safely. This policy explains our shipping procedures for all orders within Langkawi and to the rest of Malaysia.
1. Information We Collect
- Custom-Made Products: Most of our products (signage, banners, etc.) are made-to-order. Production time is typically between 5 to 10 business days, beginning after your final design proof has been approved and payment is confirmed.
- Ready-Stock Items: Orders for ready-stock items will be processed within 1 to 3 business days.
2. Delivery within Langkawi Island
- Local Courier Delivery: We offer standard delivery for all locations within Langkawi.
- Local Pickup: You can collect your order from our office. Please select “Local Pickup” at checkout and wait for our notification confirming your order is ready.
- Address: Lot 612, Kampung Kelibang, Mukim Kuah, 07000 Langkawi, Kedah.
- Signage Installation: We provide professional on-site installation services for signage within Langkawi. Please contact us for a quotation.
3. Shipping Outside of Langkawi (to Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah & Sarawak)
A. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Taxes & Duties
Langkawi is a Duty-Free Zone. All goods shipped from Langkawi to other parts of Malaysia are considered imports by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department and are subject to inspection and applicable taxes.
- The recipient (customer) is responsible for paying all applicable Sales & Service Tax (SST), duties, and any administrative fees charged by the courier for customs clearance. These charges are not included in your payment to us.
B. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Customs Declaration & Dispatch Schedule
Due to the implementation of Langkawi’s customs regulations, every order shipped outside of the island must be individually declared with Custom Malaysia Langkawi before it can be handed over to a courier service.
To manage this process, our delivery service for off-island orders is performed on a fixed schedule (e.g., once or twice a week).
Please be advised that due to this implementation, you may experience a slight delay between your order’s completion and its actual dispatch date. Your patience and understanding are much appreciated.
C. Estimated Delivery Timeframes (Outside Langkawi)
The total delivery time is a combination of production, customs declaration, and courier transit time.
- Peninsular Malaysia: Please allow approximately 7 – 14 business days for your order to arrive after it has been processed.
- Sabah & Sarawak: Please allow approximately 10 – 18 business days for your order to arrive after it has been processed.
Note: These timeframes are estimates and include potential delays from our dispatch schedule and customs clearance. They are not guaranteed.
4. Order Tracking
Once your order has been declared, processed, and handed over to the courier, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number.
